Releasing three albums and being around for nearly 10 years has certainly made Jetplane Landing one of our most influencial bands. Quite influenced by At The Drive In, but while veering off into their own post-hardcore via punk tendancies they have built up quite a storm throughout the years. Now indefinately defunct, Jetplane Landing played their last show to date at Truck Festival in 2006 to a capacity crowd containing members of Brigade, Prego and a crowd-surfing Sam Duckworth of Get Cape Wear Cape Fly (who incedently knew the words to every song).
Just as notable is Jetplane Landing's independant outlook on promoting their music and that of others through their own independant record label Small Town America. Not only looking after Jetplane, but being home to bands including Oppenheimer (previously) and now Fighting With Wire. Over 150 bands have featured on their sampler CDs, often before reaching massive success themselves.
